Submission Policy

🎶 Welcome to Electric Kids Music Blog!

This blog supports independent creators making music and books for children.

I review and feature children’s musicians, authors, and illustrators who are creating thoughtful, creative work for young audiences. This space was built to help independent voices be heard, and I'm excited to welcome children’s books alongside children’s music.

I love discovering new music and books for kids and families. To make sure your submission has the best chance of being reviewed, please read the policy below carefully.

📝 How Submissions Work

  • Submissions are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Wait times may vary, sometimes 6-8 weeks, depending on the queue.
  • All submissions are free — any musician or author can submit without paying.

☕️ Priority Placement (Optional)

Want your project reviewed sooner to fit with your release schedule? I offer an optional Ko-Fi supporter perk that allows for priority placement in the review queue. This donation helps support the time and labour that goes into listening, researching, and writing thoughtful reviews.

Important:

  • Priority affects timing, not coverage or positivity.
  • All reviews remain honest and independent.
  • Supporting the blog helps me spend the time needed on thoughtful reviews and keeps submissions open to everyone.
