I’m a singer-songwriter with Australian kindie band Fabulous Lemon Drops and a primary school music teacher based in Brisbane, Australia.
Electric Kids Music began as a space dedicated to reviewing independent children’s music from artists across the globe. As the creative community has grown, so has my mission. Today, Electric Kids Music is expanding to also include reviews of books by independent children’s authors — storytellers who, like the musicians I feature, create thoughtful, imaginative work that respects kids as curious, creative humans.
My goal is to create a vibrant creative hub where music, books, and ideas intersect. The blog celebrates originality, diversity, and independent voices, helping families, educators, and young audiences discover art that entertains, inspires, and connects.

Submissions are first-come, first-served; Ko-Fi supporters can get priority, but all reviews stay honest and independent.
